My First Dog - Wally a Dutchhound Dog

Wally is my first dog :) he's a mixed breed of a dutchhound. 13 years ago when my family and I moved in to our current house, when we were getting some furniture in and the doors were all open, a small puppy came running in, jumping excitedly and wagging his tail. My sister and I immediately wanted to keep him, although my mom was not too pleased with the idea :P

On the first night in the new house, I was sitting on the floor and watching some tv, when the puppy came cuddling in my lap and fell asleep. On tv there was an episode of 'Beverly Hills 90210' where Brenda found a dog and named him Wally. and that's how Wally got his name too...

We have no idea where Wally came from, but we like to say that he is just a smart dog and simply decided to move in with us...

Wally never had any behavioral issues. he is very obedient and knows many commands, such as 'sit', 'shake', 'up', 'down', 'kiss', 'out', 'in', 'lie down', 'bark', 'drink', 'go here/there' and many more...

His favorite snack is a piece of yellow cheese. He never had any serious medical issues either, other than allergies. He eats a special food formula, for sensitive stomach & skin, based on salmon.

Wally is already 13+ years old, and his age is showing. He is not hearig or seeing very good anymore. but he seems to be getting along quite good, and I really hope we get to spend many more years together.
