My Pit Bulls - Deuca and Dolce

These are my 2 pit bulls. Deuca (back) is 8 and Dolce (front) is 2.

Deuca is a professional paw shaker, treat beggar, and bed hogger.

Dolce is a billy goat. She climbs everything and can generally be found standing on the back of the couch...

Both love tug-o-war, laying in the sun, and chasing squirrels. At this moment the are both snoring like chain saws!!!

I would like to step on a very small soap box and say the pit bulls are some of the best, sweetest, and most lovable doggies out there. I really with people would stop the giving them a bad name, they are not bad dogs, they have bad humans.

I have had Deuca since she was a puppy. Dolce has live with me for around a year now, sheesh how time files. I am always amazed at their distinct personalities. Deuca is very independent and stubborn. Dolce is very eager to please and is always just a few inches away, if that.

Deuca had knee surgery a few years ago and is doing great now. She tore her CCL and had the TPLO surgery. She has a big scar now but her knee is stronger than ever. Otherwise she is healthy, maybe a little chubby at times :)

Dolce has super sensetive/itchy skin. We keep her on an oatmeal food, keep the advantage on, spray her with her medicine and she does much better. Sometimes she has to take medicine, but she knows what I am up to and eats the treat and spits out the pill....grrr.
