Chowbie

My pugs name is Chowbie. We bought him when he was 1 year old from a dog store near our house. One of the memorable and sincere moments we had with him was when we accidentally left his cage at a sunny spot (We cage him when we leave the house, He isn't completely housebroken yet) anyways when we got back to the house after a few hours he wasn't his usual active self. He showed little reaction to anything and wouldn't respond to anything we did, So we took him to the vet and in turned out he had heat stroke and the chances of him surviving were only 50/50. He was at the vet for 3 days. And we were all apprehensive of what news they would give us would we lose our precious chowbie? My sister was actually near tears but in the end eveything turned out fine. Now we never leave him in his cage and just let him stay in the house.

My dog can do two things first when I say his name he will come running fast, and second if I stare at him long enough he will sit down (best trick ever!). Seriously though we don't really train our dog to do tricks, he is usually too hyper to and it's hard to make him stay in one place let alone teach him tricks but that doesn't stop us from trying may in a few months he will be calm enough to train. Hopefully.

I don't know if this is a behavioral problem or lack of training or he just likes to do it but our dog likes to bite off the wallpaper of our house and if we leave any paper lying around he will go for it. He also keeps going to the second and third floor of our house, even though I bring him down everytime he still keeps going up. I have no idea how top stop this.

My dogs favorite activity is chasing anything that moves if I want to leave the house I have to lure him away from the front door first then make a wild dash to get out without him following me, and if he does get out and he sees a car he will chase it which is quite dangerous so we never let him out without a leash on him.
