Rescue Zeus

I adopted Zeus last Saturday from the humane society. He is 7 months old and has kennel cough. I've been giving his medicine and he is much better. He is the most lovable dog I have ever had. I just taught him to roll over dead when I say bang. I just love him and its only been a week. He is GREAT with my other two little maltese and my parrot. I never cage my parrot and he never attempts to bother him. I want to teach him more tricks but I'm not sure what I can teach a dog of this size. This is my first time owning such a large dog but, I'm so glad I brought him home. If anyone knows what else I can teach him let me know. He sits on command, lays on command and stays on command. My husband past away 1 1/2 years ago and this is the first time I have really enjoyed myself since he pasted. We have a king size bed so Zeus sleeps with me and it's kind of nice to see that side of the bed taken up. Anyone has anything they can share with me about Newfies let me know.
